1. What cookies are

4. Third parties

Some cookies are set by providers acting for us — our analytics platform, and the CDN and security layer that protects the site against attack. Those providers process the data under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. 5. How long they last

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — typically no longer than [MAXIMUM COOKIE LIFETIME, e.g. 13 months] — after which they expire or are refreshed subject to your consent.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies will break parts of this site, including the consent record itself, which means the banner will reappear on every visit.
