Cookies Policy

What this site stores on your device, why, and how to change your choice at any time.

Last reviewed: 19 August 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. We also use comparable technologies — local storage and pixels — and refer to all of them as "cookies" here. They let the site work, remember your choices and, where you allow it, tell us how the site is used.

2. Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks which categories you accept. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by reopening the cookie preferences from the banner, and we honour browser "Do Not Track" signals.

3. The categories we use

  • Necessary — required for the site to function: session integrity, load balancing, bot and abuse mitigation, and recording your cookie choice itself. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — measure page views, referrers and broad usage patterns so we can improve the site. Set only with your consent, and configured to limit the identifiability of the data collected.
  • Marketing — measure the effectiveness of campaigns and limit repeat advertising. Set only with your consent.
  • Preferences — remember interface choices such as your selected region so the site behaves consistently on your next visit. Set only with your consent.

4. Third parties

Some cookies are set by providers acting for us — our analytics platform, and the CDN and security layer that protects the site against attack. Those providers process the data under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. A current itemised cookie inventory, including names and lifetimes, is available from [email protected].

5. How long they last

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — typically no longer than [MAXIMUM COOKIE LIFETIME, e.g. 13 months] — after which they expire or are refreshed subject to your consent.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies will break parts of this site, including the consent record itself, which means the banner will reappear on every visit.

7. Related policies

How we handle personal data more broadly is described in our Privacy Policy. Use of this site is governed by our Terms & Conditions.
